FREESTYLE  DINING Image a deluxe resort telling you who you have to sit with at dinner, or what time you have to eat.  Traditional cruises do, but resorts don't, and we won't either.  We not only have alternative restaurants, we have alternative seating arrangements in each restaurant. You can enjoy a t?te-a-t?te for two, dine with a couple you just met, or make reservations for a party of ten.  You can even change your table every night, depending on your mood.  And you'll never need to hurry to your meal-or through it! (Of course, if you prefer the more traditional cruise experience, a pre-set time and table can be easily arranged.

FREESTYLE  RESTAURANTS Across the Norwegian fleet, there are a la carte gourmet and ethnic restaurants.  Casual eateries and intimate bistros.  Pizzerias and open-air buffets.  In fact, on some of the ships you can dine in a different restaurant practically every night of the week.  The new Norwegian Sun, the first ship ever designed exclusively for Freestyle Cruising,  has no fewer than nine restaurants to choose from.

FREESTYLE  SERVICE How can you offer the best service? Offer more service! Norwegian has added extra crew members, up to 100 more, to each of their ships. That will add up to about one extra crew member per stateroom, a service level typically found only on luxury ships and the finest resorts on land.  You will find the staff friendly and courteous. Unobtrusive, yet very much there.  They will keep your stateroom immaculate, turn your bed down and attend to every detail. FREESTYLE  ATTIRE You are not in the army, you are on vacation.  So come as you are.  Resort casual attire is as dressy as you will ever have to get--stylish, yet relaxed. On the other hand, for those who love to get all decked out in elegant company, formal dress is one of the main dining rooms and some of the lounges is a option at least once during your cruise.

FREESTYLE  ACTIVITIES There is only one schedule on a Freestyle Cruise, yours.  For those who prefer to be active Norwegian's  new Lifestyle Program features computer classes, physically active excursions, health and wellness programs and cooking demonstrations. There are all kinds of activities at challenging your mind as well as your body. Norwegian picks the ports-but the rest is your call.

FREESTYLE  GRATUITIES The last night of your vacations should not be spent scrambling to find change and distributing tips. For your convenience, the suggested gratuities for your on-board service personal are automatically applied to your account.  We know that tipping is a personal matter and that you may want to tip more or less than the suggested guidelines.  No problem. Just contact the front desk to make any adjustments you think appropriate.

FREESTYLE  DISEMBARKATION All good things must come to an end.  But now the end won't seem to take forever, thanks to our new guest-friendly disembarkation system.  More service personnel means we can streamline the entire procedure.  If you don't have an early flight to catch, then instead of rising early, hurrying through breakfast and having to vacate your room, you can enjoy a morning of leisure on the last day of your cruise.
